SNR Report: of fields & firelight

by on September 27, 2011

I want to show you how beautiful it is to be on a bike, cruising down the Trans Canada Trail and watching the sun go down over fields of corn and oats. We were out there riding and I enjoyed that beautiful sunset, but I was too busy bringing up the rear to take pictures. Maybe we’ll get some photos from the trail when Cindy has time to post.

It was a lovely night, and we were joined by Joanne and Asunta–two newcomers who arrived (on time!) at HQ to join us for the ride:

Ladies, if you’re unsure about joining us, I hope you can see that new people are dropping in every week!  It’s not too late to start riding with us…in fact, I strongly recommend that you get off that couch now, while the weather is still decent. Put down the chips, the channel changer, or that clingy child–and pick up your bike.

NEXT RIDE: Sunday, October 2nd at 7 p.m.

Here’s my one photo from the trail–check out these sweet rides:

Don’t worry–we’re not at all snooty about what you ride–come as you are.

After we tamed the trail, we got invited back to Julia’s place for the best post-ride hospitality in the history of our club. Pull your chair a little closer and enjoy the fire.
