WWR Report: pancakes

by on February 13, 2013

Cheryl_lugeJust three of us on the ride this week; Cheryl and I had to pick-up Lisa, but it was worth the trip. Cheryl got to test out the luge run in Lisa’s front yard before we hit the road.

Turns out that while Lisa and I both made pancakes for supper, Cheryl is the only one making a true sacrifice for Lent–she’s giving up chocolate. I am giving up trash talk, and Lisa doesn’t know how to give up.

Winds were light earlier in the day, but we had a good push against the wind as we rode in the country, west of the Village. The gravel roads were in great shape in all directions,  and we did a 6 mile loop before heading for the clubhouse.

REMINDER:  At next week’s ride; we will be zipping around town for an Alley Cat race. The Race Director, David, would like to know how many participants to expect, so if you are able to confirm your attendance, please do so by leaving a comment.

And now for some random photos from rides past….

Thanks Sandra. I’m not expecting a definitive number for next Tuesday but a general idea would be helpful!
